The Macintosh software is 32-bit only and will not work in Photoshop CS6. But if you do not plan to upgrade to Photoshop CS6 anytime soon, think of the art you can create now.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 must be operated in 32-bit mode.

Macintosh Computer Requirements

Lucis Pro 6 processdes 8-16 bit images. LucisArt 3 processes 8-bit images. An Intel Macintosh computer with OS 10.5-10.8 with 4 GB of RAM (recommended - 2 GB RAM minimum) and Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 - 11 or Adobe Photoshop CS3, CS4 or CS5 if CS5 is operated in 32-bit mode.

LucisArt 3 and Lucis Pro 6 will not work in Photoshop CS6 as Photoshop CS6 does not have 32-bit mode.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 must be operated in 32-bit mode.

To run CS5 in 32-bit mode: Make sure Photoshop is off. Choose Go > Applications from the Finder menu. Open the Adobe Photoshop CS5 Application folder. Click on the Adobe Photoshop CS5.app file. Choose File > Get Info. Check the "Open in 32-bit Mode" check box. Close the Get Info window. Launch Photoshop CS5 and it will open in 32-bit mode.

LucisArt 3 only processes 8-bit images. Lucis Pro 6 processes 8-16 bit images.
